What the service includes
This service is a per-hour rate for removing sewn or crochet extensions and also applies to bonded weaves. At our salon the published rate is $50 for 60 MINUTES; that covers a technician’s time to remove extensions, inspect the scalp and natural hair, and begin detangling and cleanup during the booked hour.
The actual work performed is focused on safe removal and assessment rather than immediate replacement. Technicians evaluate how the extensions were attached, the condition of the tracks and bonds, and how entangled the natural hair is — all factors that determine whether the booked hour will complete the takedown or whether additional time is advisable.
How the takedown works
We approach removal methodically: each sewn or crochet track is detached and the natural hair is freed carefully to limit pulling. For bonded weaves the same per-hour approach applies. The technician will continually assess tension, breakage risk, and the time remaining, prioritizing the health and integrity of the client’s own hair during the process.
Local conditions — Nashville’s humid subtropical climate and seasonal pollen — can affect tangling and the condition of long-term styles. Clients who commute from downtown, Germantown or nearby neighborhoods often schedule removals after work or on weekends; technicians will factor last-minute travel, timing and the number of tracks into their plan.
Scheduling and timing
Because this is priced by the hour, bookings are planned in 60 MINUTES units at $50 per hour. The busiest months are January, July and August, when many clients remove long-term protective or sewn styles after holidays and summer travel. If more time is needed the appointment can be extended or rebooked; additional time is billed at the same per-hour rate.
Our North Nashville — Jefferson Street corridor location is convenient for commuters from downtown, Germantown and East Nashville, making after-work and weekend slots practical. Bring information about when and how your extensions were installed and any product history so the technician can more accurately estimate whether the booked hour will complete the takedown.
