We gently detangle and determine whether the bonds or wefts need attention before washing. If retightening is needed, we will quote it; retightening starts from $20 extra and may add time to your service.
We explain what we found and confirm whether the appointment will focus solely on shampoo, conditioning, and curl or include retightening. Because this service is designed for installed extensions, we prioritize protecting bonds and minimizing manipulation that could loosen attachments, so scope and timing are adjusted based on your extensions’ condition.
Shampooing and conditioning process
Shampooing removes surface oils, product build-up and environmental particles from hair and extensions; during the wash we use gentle motions and targeted rinsing to avoid disturbing attachment points. Conditioning focuses on slip and smoothing the extension lengths so curls form evenly; thorough rinsing ensures product doesn't weigh down the extensions or cause residue.
Price: $150. Duration: 180 MINUTES. These appointments allow time to wash, condition, and curl carefully without rushing. Curling and final styling
Curling is executed to blend extension lengths with your natural hair and set a finished shape that suits your plans. We shape curl patterns while the hair is damp or dry as needed, using techniques that prioritize bond safety; the final look depends on extension condition, density and how recently they were maintained.
The stylist will secure the curl and adjust finish so it holds in Nashville's humid subtropical climate, where summers and spring pollen can affect manageability.
